I am a native of Marion, Indiana, and a 2013 graduate of Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL). My wife Melissa and I met at Twin City Church in Marion where I had my internship after graduating college. At the age of thirteen I felt the Lord’s calling on my life to full-time pastoral ministry and I have prayed since high school about serving at a church in my hometown of Marion. Joining staff at Grace was one of the biggest answers to prayer the Lord has ever given me. Melissa and I are the proud parents of three cats, one dog, and our beautiful baby girl, Willow. I love sports, playing guitar, good coffee, and dad jokes. I am currently pursing my MDiv at Indianapolis Theological Seminary.

I was born and raised in Grant County, graduating from Oak Hill High School and Indiana Wesleyan University. After working in the business field for several years, I accepted the Lord’s call to vocational ministry in 1993. It has been my privilege to serve in local church ministry for over 20 years. Joining the staff at Grace Community Church in September of 2019 was a real joy and I am grateful to serve at such a loving, Bible-centered fellowship of believers. I also have served as a missions representative with Gospelink Ministries (www.gospelink.org) since 2007, overseeing Gospelink’s church planting work in the SE Asian nations of Vietnam and Cambodia. In 1988, my beautiful wife Sunnie, and I were married. God has blessed us with six children and two grandchildren. Our vision is to see Grace Community Church continue to impact our community and the world by training disciples who are missional about living and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My hobbies include basketball, board games, and watching sports, especially my beloved Bears.
